Case Manager, Neighbors First BC PDF Print E-mail

Bryan Carpenter grew up in a small town in Indiana. Since the age of 20 Bryan has been working full-time with homeless individuals and families. From 2003 to 2008 he managed a Transitional Housing program, worked as a Case Manager for an Emergency Shelter, and interned at an Indianapolis high school while working on his Bachelor of Social Work degree. Bryan graduated from Indiana University School of Social Work in 2008 and promptly decided to become a proud Washington, DC transplant. Bryan joined the newly created Neighbors First Program when it started in August 2008.

Bryan is an avid sports, movie, music, and cooking enthusiast. He is known to be standing next to a charcoal grill every sunny spring and summer weekend. He loves helping others and has been quoted as saying “I get paid to help people.  How much better can it get, right?”
