Guidy Paul grew up in New York City. During her sophomore year of college, Guidy started working with battered women and their children.  After graduating from Saint Francis College with a degree in Psychology, Guidy worked in foster care, working with families and helping them to reunite. During this time she was able to work a vast number of individuals from all sorts of backgrounds. In the fall of 2008 Guidy sought the opportunity to work with Friendship Place in the new Neighbors First program.

During her spare time, Guidy enjoys working on various “do it yourself” home projects, outdoor activities, and watching old movies. Guidy continues to volunteer with families and is dedicated to helping individuals make a new start for themselves.
