The Education & Advocacy Committee of the Friendship Place board is excited to present The Changing Face of Homelessness.

This symposium is open to the community and will discuss the changing face of homelessness in DC, particularly in light of the economic downturn. We are interested in overviews of the changing (or perhaps not-changing) demographics as well as the nature of the response on the part of the local government, nonprofits, and the community in general.
